The Institute of Computer Forensic Professionals is a private, non-profit corporation that is working with leaders in the field of digital forensics to provide standards and instruction for professionals in this field. The ICFP is a not-for-profit corporation and was founded on the principle of solidifying industry standards and support materials for the lowest cost to our members. Not only is the ICFP dedicated to providing internationally recognized computer forensic standards, but the ICFP also functions as a focal point for the advancement of computer forensics throughout the industry. The ICFP does not limit its membership to any particular group or legal-associated side in the field.
